I have over 20 years of experience in the Employment and Training industry. In that time, I've created hundreds of resumes and cover letters that have led to interviews and jobs. I've also talked to dozens of recruiters and hiring managers over the years about what they look for when reviewing resumes.
As such, I'm a little different than most writers. I know that the look of your resume - along with your cover letter and introductory email - gives the reader an impression of you well before the first word is even read.
I want that impression to be favorable. Because I know that the reader will then be more likely to see how your skills are a good match for their needs.
